Is there a small nonelectrical or small battery pump cut off switch?

I'm needing some thing that can shut off a 20oz chamber of Co2. Is there a small vial switch of some sort that is set on a timer or a thermometer like an air conditioner that requireres little energy that i could run off a battery?

There are solenoid valves but they either consume power when on or consume power when off, so either way you are going to run down a battery pretty quickly.

A solution might be a piezo valve, see below. They use minimal current, about 20mA when on. The downside is they don't work at high pressure, 6 bar max for the Hoerbiger ones.
